Tis the Season!

My babies are growing up! This year's wish list is an American Girl doll for our little doll & a GoPro camera for our pro golfer in the making!

7 & 14 are really fun ages for Christmas. They get into not only receiving, but GIVING to others.
I enjoy running errands with them, shopping for family, having lunch out. Such a JOY to be around these two!
My mother in law is getting married this upcoming Saturday! It is a big fancy event for the family, so I'm sure I'll have at least 100 pictures to post!
I am grateful, I am THANKFUL, I am loving the life I lived & learned from in 2014. I feel so much wiser and ready for 2015.

Happy Fall, You Guys! (I grew up in Michigan, what can I say?!)

Alabama weather is simply perfect these days! Chilly in the morning, warmer in the afternoons!
We've been spending a lot of time at our Veterans Park in our area & that is always a "YES" when I ask them if they want to go!

 9th and 2nd grades are agreeing with these two loves!

 Barkley Hudspeth is enjoying his family time, as well. He isn't as hot & sweaty in the fall. He lives a very comfortable life.

Kenlee's most favorite thing in the world is checking out if there are any German Shepherd's at the dog park. This time there was a german and a anatolonian shepherd! Check out this big boy!

We are about to start city basketball for Logan & I've been massaging up a storm. I am extra thankful this year for such a busy season. It really used to stress me out, now, I embrace it & actually ENJOY it. I have truly found peace in handling what I used to think was an out of control schedule. Now, it helps motivate me. Everything is all in what we make it.

A Fabulous Essential Oil Party at Joy's!

I cannot tell you how much fun I had sharing some of what I know about essential oils yesterday! My sweet friend, JOY, invited some of us over to her beautiful home so we could all be together & share in the oil love! I gave massage & answered some of their questions and we ate delicious food & had a great time!

School was out, so my little assistant, Kenlee, came with me!

Lavender: I use this for relaxation & in the place of Neosporin for cuts & scrapes!
PanAway: For menstrual cramps, arthritis, muscle aches, joint issues
Peppermint: For fever, headaches, diffuse with orange oil for a nice scent!
Cypress: To soothe muscles & great for boosting confidence!

I could go on & on all day long about my love of oils. They have brightened our home, our moods, my massage practice, our congestion! I am so fortunate to receive a lot of continuing education about oils & include them in my House of Hudspeth!

The Calera train ride & Pumpkin Patch!

We had the best time! It was actually Josh's idea. It was the first time I've ever ridden on a train! I loved it because they even had wine tasting here & boiled pnuts. I am a sucker for a spicy boiled pnut! Call me weird, I know!
Then we went to JuJu & Michael's that night & grilled out.

This girl is going to do SOMETHING with animals when she gets older. She is so in tuned to them!
Today is my mom's 70th (shhhh!) Bday! She doesn't look 70! I can't believe it! She is about 62 in my mind always!

Almost October!

I have had so many spam comments on this blog, that it really just turned me off from blogging! Then! My friend, Joy, showed me how to change that & it has inspired me to get back to it! I didn't want to become a private blog, but I did want to get rid of all of those "anonymous" comments.
Life is sweet here & so busy! The two Hudspeth kids are enjoying school & really doing good with their work & enjoying life as a 2nd & 9th grader!

Homecoming is coming up & fall is arriving! We had visitors at my parents last weekend....my brother & nephew, Cameron. The kids had a good time catching up.

 When we got home, Kenlee had to catch up on her beauty sleep. I think she slept for almost 3 hours on the sofa!

16 days from today will begin hunting season. Our guys are really excited.
Kenlee & I will be thinking of some fun projects to try while they are in the woods.
I am still massaging daily & enjoying my oils! Here is a great blend I've been diffusing that smells divine! I will post more! In just a couple weeks my Mom turns 70 & my parents celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! What a blessing!
